- Task: Did you answer every part of the prompt?
- Position: Is your opinion or main point clear in the introduction?
- Paragraphs: Does each body paragraph have one controlling idea?
- Evidence: Did you explain examples instead of just naming them?
- Grammar: Check subject-verb agreement, articles, plurals, and tense consistency.
- Ending: Does the conclusion summarise without adding a new argument?
