Clinic Receptionist: Good morning, Oakwood Medical Centre. How can I help you? Patient: Oh, hello. I need to change my appointment. I'm supposed to see Dr. Patel on Thursday, but something's come up. Clinic Receptionist: I can help with that. Can I have your name, please? Patient: It's Susan Miller. Clinic Receptionist: Let me pull up your record. Miller... Susan. Yes, I see you're booked for Thursday the 12th at 10:30. Is that right? Patient: Actually, I thought it was the 14th, but yes, the 12th. I can't make that day at all now. Clinic Receptionist: No problem. We have availability on Friday the 13th. Would that work? Patient: Friday the 13th? That's fine. What times are there? Clinic Receptionist: Dr. Patel has slots at 9:15, 11:00, and 2:30. Patient: I'll take the 11:00, please. Wait, is that at the main clinic on Park Road? Clinic Receptionist: No, Dr. Patel is at our Hillside branch on Fridays. That's on Green Lane. Patient: Oh, I didn't realise. I usually go to the Park Road one. Where exactly is Hillside? Clinic Receptionist: It's number 42 Green Lane, just past the library. There's a small car park behind the building. Patient: Okay, I'll find it. So that's Friday the 13th at 11:00, Hillside branch. Clinic Receptionist: That's correct. I've updated the appointment. Your reference number is HC-4829. You might want to note that down. Patient: HC-4829. Got it. And do I need to bring anything? Clinic Receptionist: Just your health card and a photo ID. Oh, and there's a small fee for the visit-it's £15, payable at reception. Patient: I thought it was £12. Has it gone up? Clinic Receptionist: It changed last month. It's £15 now, but if you have a referral letter, it's only £10. Patient: I don't have a referral. I'll bring the £15 then. And just to confirm, the health card and ID? Clinic Receptionist: Yes, those are essential. Without them, we can't see you. Patient: Understood. Thanks for your help. Clinic Receptionist: You're welcome. See you on Friday.
