Course Administrator: Good afternoon, City College. How can I help you? Caller: Oh, hello. I'm calling about the evening photography course. I saw an advert in the local paper. Course Administrator: Yes, we have a few photography courses. Are you interested in the beginner level or something more advanced? Caller: Well, I've done a bit of photography before, but I'm not sure I'd call myself intermediate. What levels do you offer? Course Administrator: We have Introduction to Photography, which is for complete beginners, then Intermediate, and Advanced. The evening one starting next week is Intermediate. Caller: Intermediate sounds about right. When exactly does it start? Course Administrator: It begins on Tuesday the 12th. No, sorry, that's the start date for the watercolour class. The photography course starts on Thursday the 14th. Caller: Thursday the 14th. Got it. And what time? Course Administrator: It runs from 7:00 to 9:00 in the evening. Actually, let me double-check. The first session is 7:00 to 9:00, but from the second week onwards it's 6:30 to 8:30. Caller: So the regular time is 6:30 to 8:30. That's fine. How many weeks does it run for? Course Administrator: It's an eight-week course. There's a break for half term, so it finishes on the 9th of November. Caller: And the fee? The advert said something about a discount. Course Administrator: The full fee is £180, but if you enrol by the end of this week, there's a 10% discount. So that would be £162. Caller: Oh, I thought the discount was 15%. I must have misread. Course Administrator: No, it's 10% for early enrolment. We did have a 15% discount last term, but that was for returning students only. Caller: Right, so £162. That's reasonable. What about equipment? Do I need to bring my own camera? Course Administrator: Yes, you'll need a digital SLR camera. We don't provide them. But we do supply all other materials, like memory cards and tripods. Caller: I have a DSLR, so that's fine. Is there anything else I should know? Course Administrator: Just that the course is held in the Art Block, Room 12. Not the main building. And parking is available behind the library. Caller: Art Block, Room 12. Got it. Can I enrol over the phone? Course Administrator: Certainly. I just need to take some details. Your full name, please? Caller: It's Sarah Millington. That's M-I-L-L-I-N-G-T-O-N. Course Administrator: Thank you. And your email address? Caller: It's s.millington99@email.com. That's s dot millington99 at email dot com. Course Administrator: Sorry, was that millington with two L's? You said M-I-L-L-I-N-G-T-O-N, correct? Caller: Yes, two L's. And the number is 99. Course Administrator: Great. I've got you enrolled. You'll receive a confirmation email shortly. Caller: Perfect. Thank you for your help. Course Administrator: You're welcome. Enjoy the course!
